Benefits of Pursuing a Career in Teaching

There are plenty of useful resources to start working as a full-time professional teacher. The following are some of my thoughts to pursue teaching as a career:

Teaching job always provides a fabulous stage for showing ones own inspiration plus knowledge. Besides whenever you are contemplating to get involved with professional teaching, you not only increase your own personal proficiency but end up becoming a motivational speaker. Teaching is an ultimate platform to show your personal interaction skills and responsibility.
The Ability to Inspire Young People
If you are learning to be a teacher, keep in mind that it will not only be a challenging task but also stressful. Working with kids is never easy, but once you have the experience then it will become easier to manage & educate them at the same time. As a mentor also, you must use your skills & knowledge to get the best of their abilities. Being a teacher, you must also identify their strengths to push them in the right direction. Development of children is the key to a better future, teaching is the gateway to make this a reality.
Students should be given knowledge not only to educate themselves or have a good financial career, but also to contribute towards the betterment of society and our thriving culture. They must be taught when to take up the responsibility to put their knowledge to the test out in the real world. Education should not just cover the chapters in a book but encourage students to discover the value of life.
Whatever your efforts are as a teacher, they will one day reflect in the work of your students. Everything you teach right now will motivate students to come up with a solution to the problems we face today. Who knows you might directly impact a child that might end up discover the cure for AIDS or Cancer? The rewards for being a teacher are enormous, and it will make you proud eventually.
Developing a Realistic Difference within the Community
Teachers can provide a platform to the youth for developing a society that is not only educated but creates a feeling of being united under all circumstances. Teachers get a chance every day to directly make an impact on the academic future and lifestyle of the next generation of students. For a few little ones who seem to enter the current educational setting, you could very well be the only person who seems to install trust within themselves. By doing this, you're able to alter a youngster's lifestyle for the better, every single day.
Some questions to consider before pursuing a teaching profession-
Are you willing to sacrifice your own time for the future of these kids? Are you willing to grant a lot more than what is expected out of you (above average)? Being a competent mentor, are you able to incorporate the trust factor between the kids in your classroom?
As teachers, we should always thrive to be at our best and contribute for the good of others. Being a motivator is definitely a great responsibility and we must prepare ahead of time to effectively carry on our responsibilities.
Opportunity to Change the Future of Education and Learning
As a teacher, you will have a chance to help change the destiny of children who will be facing the challenge to uplift the spirit. Best wishes to all the brave teachers.

"We heard the story of a parent who was concerned that his son’s school did not teach the important lesson he learnt when he was at school. The teacher replied: I have to make a choice. I can prepare your son either for your past or his future". Which would you prefer?

Fishing for a living!

Living near the ocean affects this person’s life in many ways. The person seems to interact with many people because of the nature of the business he does. At this place he cannot put on clean and smart clothes because of the fishing activities. Therefore living and working at this place determines the way he dresses, the food he eats and the way he speaks. He probably has to speak loudly because of the many people around him wanting to buy fish. Being a perishable commodity and in great demand, he probably has to start his business early and close late on a daily basis.

Learning environment

The person lives in Dar es Salaam region and is studying at Aga khan University. The learning environment impacts on her life in various ways. For one, she interacts with colleagues, faculties, and the learning materials differently from the way she could probably have done if she had lived at her home. Her daily routine must reflect on the learning and studying she is engaged in. Secondly, the environment in which studies reflects cleanliness, care of the environment as seen from the green trees, and offers a sense of security as evidenced by the perimeter wall. These circumstances enable her to concentrate on her studies.
