Learning environment

The person lives in Dar es Salaam region and is studying at Aga khan University. The learning environment impacts on her life in various ways. For one, she interacts with colleagues, faculties, and the learning materials differently from the way she could probably have done if she had lived at her home. Her daily routine must reflect on the learning and studying she is engaged in. Secondly, the environment in which studies reflects cleanliness, care of the environment as seen from the green trees, and offers a sense of security as evidenced by the perimeter wall. These circumstances enable her to concentrate on her studies.

  1. This reminds me of our schools back at home.Do we really care about the cleanliness and about the safety of our children especially in public primary schools?.With the free primary education, the population in these schools have gone up.Food for thought for us all who are agents of change.

  2. It is true Annplosa, i like this observation. Surely our schools there in our context are really miserable, if i copy from Marylins' blog our students are learning in very difficult conditions. Am not very much sure about this technology in 10 yrs to come, if it will reach this innocent students.
