Fishing for a living!

Living near the ocean affects this person’s life in many ways. The person seems to interact with many people because of the nature of the business he does. At this place he cannot put on clean and smart clothes because of the fishing activities. Therefore living and working at this place determines the way he dresses, the food he eats and the way he speaks. He probably has to speak loudly because of the many people around him wanting to buy fish. Being a perishable commodity and in great demand, he probably has to start his business early and close late on a daily basis.

Learning environment

The person lives in Dar es Salaam region and is studying at Aga khan University. The learning environment impacts on her life in various ways. For one, she interacts with colleagues, faculties, and the learning materials differently from the way she could probably have done if she had lived at her home. Her daily routine must reflect on the learning and studying she is engaged in. Secondly, the environment in which studies reflects cleanliness, care of the environment as seen from the green trees, and offers a sense of security as evidenced by the perimeter wall. These circumstances enable her to concentrate on her studies.

The habour

This person lives near the Indian Ocean. Her life is affected by both the climate and environment in which she lives. Because of the hot weather along the Indian Ocean coast, she has to put on light clothes. This person must engage in activities related to fishing in one way or another as a means of generating income. Besides fishing, the harbor is also a place where she can probably work in shipping or clearing-and-forwarding office as you can see the ship transporting the containers going by. The type of food common to this person might include fish because the place is surrounded by fishing activities. As a form of recreation, this lady sometimes enjoys walking along the beach.
